Objective

Robbinsville Board of Education hired a new Superintendent, starting July 1, 2020. New to the community, Positive Solutions worked to help Superintendent Betze learn the key members of the community, meet with local media and develop marketing and communication efforts during COVID-19 and working to get students back in the multiple buildings in the district. 

 Results 

  • Introduced Superintendent to the community – email blasts, social media posts and content added to the website

  • Built relationship with TAPInto Editor to garner local media coverage for the school district that previously was not strong

  • Interacted with local media to promote district in a positive light and highlight achievements of students and sports teams

  • Managed controversial matters effectively and efficiently through communication with media outlets

  • Worked in partnership to write communications to the community to keep them properly informed

  • Developed social media graphics to highlight what is happening within the district

  • Improved content delivered via social media and grew number of followers on the district page

  • Developed videos (highlighting diversity, holidays and community messaging)

  • Introduced and assisted with connections to faith community members and participating in meeting to learn how we better communicate and are sensitive to multiple cultures within the district

  • Introduced Superintendent to key members of the community and provided recommendations on community/organizations events to attend to increase visibility within the community
